Expungements and Pardons in Delaware

The law in Delaware has recently changed. If you received Probation Before Judgment for a misdemeanor charge, you do not have to wait 5 years before you can get it expunged. After your probationary period is over and your charge is dismissed, you can apply for Expungement.

Expungements and Pardons

In Delaware, one can only get an adult record expunged if you have arrests with no convictions (traffic offenses do not count).  However, if you are Pardoned by the Governor for certain offenses, then you may be able to get an Expungement after a Pardon. Felonies can not be expunged, although they may be pardoned.
